Parity Grants
A bulk of our funding is reserved for the Parity Grant programs, which provide community members with immediate economic relief. We are dedicated to ensuring volunteers receive their grant within 24-72 hours. As such, our volunteer network provides community members with financial resources when they need it: immediately.
Your purchases help us fund the following grants:
1. Micro-Grant - Caregiver Needs Based
2. Volunteer Grant - Available to ALL Parity Hub volunteers
3. Student Initiative Grant - Available to ALL High School and College Students
1. Baby & Me Grant
Amount: $500.00
Application Available: October 1st, 2024
Application Deadline: November 1st, 2024
Our Baby & Me grant is designed to benefit new mothers, fathers, and/or caregivers and their babies. This is a need based grant. However, we consider each application on a case by case basis.
This application is meant to be easy enough to fill out with an infant in hand, but cumbersome enough to ensure we are providing grants to authentic people with real babies. These grants are a high priority for us, and we do our best to provide as many as we can.
2. Volunteer Grant
Amount: $250.00
Application Available: September 1st, 2024
Application Deadline: Rolling Basis
The Event Production Volunteer Program has three divisions: pre-production, post-production, development.
Once accepted into the Parity Hub's volunteer network, our volunteers receive training and pertinent vocational certifications ir order to become active event volunteers. Volunteers are eligible to apply for a $250.00 at the completion of every event they help us produce.
3. Student Grant
Amount: $1000.00
Application Available: January 1st, 2025
Application Deadline: May 1st, 2025
The Student Initiative Program is available to all high school, community college and university students. To fulfill grant eligibility, students are required to attend one life skills workshop as well as one financial literacy workshop.
Program members will also participate in one of Parity Hub's programming events. The event is produced by students and it functions fundraisers which provides additional resources to fund as many grants as we can.
